If you would have asked me what I wanted to be as a kid, I would have said Interior Designer. I wanted people to feel comfortable, surrounded by beauty- whatever that was for them. I was an empathic kid with an active imagination. So, active that I thought my round face with massive curls would look great with a cropped Haley Barry hair style. This was the turning point. I realized the power of a good (or bad) hair cut. I realized that if I really wanted to help people, it wasn't by connecting them to a beautiful space, it was by connecting them to the beauty within.

 

In 2003, I started at the Professional Cosmetology Institute, which was 2nd in the nation at the time. I have additional certification courses, in well- everything- balayage, ombre, color melting, hot heads hair extensions, makeup for videography and photography, etc. My hunger to challenge myself, learn more, and deliver perfection has never stopped.
